Warranty Information
1. Payment Policy. We advise you to call us prior to payment to verify that your koi is still available, as we retail on site as well and update inventory at the end of the day only. Orders must be prepaid. We accept all major credit cards — MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Company check or personal checks are accepted, however orders will not be shipped until the checks clear and stock quantities may change during the time the check awaits approval. Net terms are available on a very limited basis and only to those with a long-standing credit history in the fish business and with Legacy Koi.
2. Cancellation Policy. Please be sure to order only those fish that you want. You must cancel 24 hrs before shipping day and 2 or more cancellations with us may force us to limit future shipments to you.
3. Shipping & Retuns. Your fish will be packed in polyethylene bags with pure oxygen. We purge the fish for at least three days prior to shipping to keep the water in shipping bags as clean as possible to protect the fish. WE SHIP MONDAY THRU THURSDAY – AIRPORT TO AIRPORT FLAT FEE OF $49.50. Other shipping arrangements can be made – delivery to your door by Fed Ex Express ® Next Day or UPS Overnight only, no ground shipping (please contact us in advance to get a quote and make arrangements for any other carrier shipping or combined shipping). Someone must be there to accept the package (no PO Box addresses). Sometimes the shipments get delayed due to weather, traffic or other issues. We cannot be responsible for this as we have no control over such things but we will do our best to assist you if these things should happen. Please inspect the package upon accepting from courier and should there be a problem with the packages after they arrive, please be sure to note any damage with the Fed Ex or UPS driver prior to signing for the packages. Do not send packages back as fish are not a returnable item. Please notify us ASAP of any issues with your delivery so we may assist you right away. We guarantee live arrival, however you are responsible for the water quality that you will be releasing the fish in. If you receive any DOA’s please call within 2 hours and be prepared to send us the pictures of the deceased fish (with tail removed) to verify in order for us to make any approved adjustments to your order. No refunds on Shipping charges.
